July 11th, 2015. I was granted the opportunity to DJ for the NFL 5-time Pro Bowl wide-receiver of the Cincinnati Bengals, A.J. Green and his Nike Skills Camp.
We arrived a day early in Charleston, SC where A.J. greeted us at the hotel. I felt so privileged to be in elite company which included other NFL stars such as Justin Houston (LB – Kansas City Chiefs), Akeem Dent (LB – Houston Texans), and others. There was a scheduled bowling event at a local alley in which A.J. hosted his closest family, friends, and fans of his hometown.
The next day, the skills camp called for us to be up and at it early so we could beat the mid-July South Carolina heat! There were about 100 kids who participated in his weekend, and it was an honor to be able to provide the soundtrack for such an occasion!
